One of the jewels in the crown of renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones jnr.
Just 20 minutes on the freeway north of the Perth CBD is this amazing 27 holes course, and if possible you must play all three nines, as they are so different from one another. As the name suggests, the Quarry course requires carry over massive excavations, the par 5 fourth will leave you open mouthed, a double dog-leg with one of the world's largest bunkers.
The Dunes nine winds through natural, and in parts impenetrable bushland, while the Lakes nine has the water factor at the start and finish, and a links-style layout in the middle.
Joondalup has recently been named "Australia's Number 1 Public Access Course" in the 2002 Australian Golf Course Guide announced Australian Golf Digest.
